Vanessa Earl

Vanessa has worked internationally in theatre, television and film

Trained at the prestigious Parisian theatre school L’Ecole Jacques Lecoq after completing a degree in Drama and English at Liverpool University. She has worked for, amongst others, the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre, the Clod Ensemble and Theatre de Complicite. Most recently she has been working with Sean Bean and Jimmy McGovern on a new drama for the BBC; Simon Amstel on his new satire, Carnage for the BBC; Mackensie Crooke and Toby Jones on the BBC 4 comedy the Detectorists and with Kenneth Brannagh on the television drama Wallander. She is developing a theatre project SALT which has just received initial funding from Housetheatre.
