Vanessa has worked as a professional coach and facilitator for twenty years. She loves working with people, in 1-1’s and group settings. Her passion is to facilitate positive personal and interpersonal change through developing awareness. She works globally, on-line and in-person.

Background

Gained a BA Hons in Drama and English and then trained as an actor at the L’Ecole Internationale de Jacques Lecoq du Theatre, in Paris. Successfully worked as an actor, maker and coach for 25 years. Becoming passionate about facilitating change in people and society working with individuals and groups within multiple industries. Part of many different teams delivering development centres and also leading individual workshops and sessions. Awarded the Bradbury Prize for Drama for a final year Forum Theatre production with young Deaf people.

2008-2009: Galway Counselling Studies: GCS Foundation Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy A foundation year covering: Counselling Skills, Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Art Therapy: BodyWork Psychotherapy.
1991-1993: L’Ecole Internationale du Theatre de Jacques Lecoq: Two-year diploma in theatre: Improvisation, devising, movement, mask, character, comedy, tragedy, melodrama, Feldenkrais, voice. Also, the Laboratory of Movement with Pascale Lecoq and Krikor Belekian.
1992: French Sign Language: a year’s one-to-one tutoring in French Sign Language
1991: Facilitator for Deaf people and completed Stage 2 in British Sign Language.
1987-1990: Chester University: 2.1 BA Hons Degree in Drama and English. Awarded The Bradbury Prize for Drama for her work Forum Theatre/Invisible Theatre work with deaf teenagers.
